We went on our first date night since having Leana, y'all 🤎

If it were solely up to me, I'm not sure when this day would've ever come but I'm really glad it did. Despite the anxiousness I felt over leaving my girl behind, & a couple of not-so-perfect events that almost had me running back home... the night turned out to be pretty good!

Now I'm almost certain we'll be doing this a few more times before baby comes.

Mamas, did it take you a while to get back to doing things without your baby/toddler?

Some of y'all who've followed me a while, know that we renovated our home before moving in. Swipe to see what this space looked like before! It was actually 2 separate rooms (a kitchen + a sitting room), that we opened up to create a full kitchen/dining space.

Orlando & I reconstructed the layout of this house & pretty much renovated on our own. We literally sat down & reworked the space on paper, took our plans to a contractor (who left us hanging most of the time!) & got this home to what it is now. I was pregnant with Leana during the renovation so I didn't help much with the labor but I did everything from pick out fixtures to arrange inspections. It was a stressful experience but we learned so much & I'm currently working on building a career in this field.

I'm heading into my 20th week of pregnancy & just cannot believe time is moving so fast 🤎

Even with not feeling my best the past few months, I'm still wishing things would slow down a bit because sick or not, I really do enjoy being pregnant.

& y'all, we are just 1 day away from our Halloween themed gender reveal party! 🎃 I honestly could've done without a whole reveal but now that we've got it all planned & everyone else is so excited, I can't contain my anticipation.

We've spent this month watching Halloween shows/movies, doing themed crafts, reading Halloween books, searching for pieces to complete our costumes &&& getting ready for a special party we're having this weekend! Sooo much going on but this is what makes the holidays most fun for me.
